Fender used Brazilian rosewood slab fretboards on their Stratocasters from late 1959 into 1962 I believe.

Tokai first offered rosewood slabs on the ST70R shown first in the Spring 1982 catalog but examples appear in late 1981.

It was called the "1960" model.

Fender calls their reproduction the '62 based on the example they used to create their model.

Within a year or so the TST-62 was created for the American market and had the "Export" or "Fat Script" logo.

And in 1984 an AST80 was offered with a slab board.
