Beautiful example of very rare Reborn Old JFB (jacaranda fretboard) made for Rock inn shop in Japan.
Solid 4A flame top.
1 piece mahogany body and neck (some sources say it's honduran some african, I'm not sure).
Nitro finish.
Very very nice brazilian rosewood fingerboard with binding.
Weight just below 4kg.
Thick 59 style neck.
Stock Tokai MKII Vintage pickups. Guitar sounds rather bright and snappy.
Overall condition is very good/mint, just few very small spots on delicate finish.
A thing worth mentioning is a slight slight neck warp. One needs to look very carefully to see it, action at the moment is set to 1.0/1.4 mm with no buzz that proofs it's not an issue and most guitarists wouldn't even notice it (some freaks like me would ) but it should be mentioned. Frets are even and high.

Up for sale is an awesome 2014 Tokai Premium Series LS Reborn Old in Vintage Teaburst. These were a factory special run from Tokai for Japanese dealer Rockin Japan.

Solid, one-piece mahogany back, figured AA grade maple top, Madagascar rosewood fingerboard, mahogany set neck with long tenon, ABR-1 style bridge with brass saddles, aluminum tailpiece, medium jumbo nickel frets. Finish is nitro lacquer. Switchcraft switch and jack. CTS 500K pots and Orange Drop caps, all stock.

Beautiful grained fingerboard with shades of red. Great feeling neck about the size of a Gibson Historic '59 in shape. Fantastic playing and sounding guitar. Weighs 9.1 pounds.

If you are unfamiliar with Tokai's pricing, this is slightly more expensive in value to Tokai's LS-173 range for comparison purposes. Easily comparable to a Gibson Custom Shop Historic reissue, but plays even better.

Description of item​

I had it made on a semi-order basis in September 2022.
The basic model is LS214.

Body top: Selected quilted maple (laminate)
Body back: Honduran mahogany 2-piece
Fingerboard material: Madagascar rosewood
P mark: Avalon inlay
Pickup: PAF Vintage MK2 Zebra
Frets: Jesker FW47104 (more than 90% frets remaining)

Deep joint, capacitor is an orange drop.
I think the main body weight is 3.7kg, which is on the lighter side.

After purchasing it, I hardly ever played it and fell asleep.
The front P/U is in the opposite direction.
The P/U select switch is also reversed from front to rear.
(Easy to fix)
Volume\tone knob If you have a normal item, we will include it.
There are some small scratches and scratches, but they are hardly noticeable.
I am putting it up for sale in order to organize my equipment.

Once again, Tokai Musical Instruments produced our custom-made model with maniac specifications!

Based on the standard specs of maple top, 2-piece mahogany back, 1-piece mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard, it is decorated with gorgeous quilted maple, and equipped with an original humbucker PAF Vintage MK-2 with open cover/zebra bobbin specification, on the fingerboard. features gorgeous Avalon inlays.

Tokai's excellent processing precision, neck fit, etc. are made using traditional glue adhesive and are carefully crafted over time, resulting in a clear sound image with clear contours and an edgy sound when driven.
