I recently got a tokai jazzmaster, after searching I went to the conclusion that it may be a tokai AJM-140. But there's one thing I find very odd that according to the serial number on the neck, this guitar was been made in China. But after my search, every AJMs I found was made in Japan, none of them were made in CN. And there's saying that China only participated in lineup such as Love Rock. So I wonder is my guitar just a rare version it's been ressembled with CN parts or it's like a fake/no-autorized version or something else.

Thanks.

Thank you a lot!
And is there any way for me to know the model name and the specification of it(use which pickup and such), is it similar to the AJM-140? That will help a lot!

It was made in China in 2019.

Its part of a line they called “Limited Edition” and I don’t believe they were shown in catalogs.

I’m not sure about model number and specs since it’s a non catalog model. It’s possible that Tokai still has that information. You might try contacting them.

And as far as which pickups switch on in different positions, I would try tapping them with a guitar pick with it plugged into an amp with the volume on.
