Looks like "L. White" stands for Lawrence White, the president of Tokai USA in the mid 80s?

THE ORIGINAL ROADS 公式ブログ

L. WHITE Pickup

"Tokai original pickup manufactured in the 80's and 90's

We thoroughly researched and analyzed vintage pickups, and developed them to optimize them for Tokai guitars.

In order to use OFC (oxygen-free copper) for the coil wire and maintain the quality, the luxurious pickups are hand-wound one by one by veteran craftsmen in Tokai. It is too costly to manufacture at present. In terms of sound, it has a warm clean tone that is suitable for tube amps, and when the volume is increased, it produces a moderately dry crunch sound.

L-WHITE is named after LAWRENCE WHITE, who was the president of a Tokai agency in the United States at the time."

TOKAI トーカイ L.WHITE SDS DRIVE ラージポール... - ヤフオク!
