This one is hard to say where it was made.
Seller claims it says Japan stamped on the inside, but no proof. Assuming they mean the paper label.
Big catalog jump at this time between 60,000 yen up to 150,000 yen guitars and custom builds.
I have to think everything under 100,000 yen was made in Korea and not cost effective to make in Japan.
Tokai Cat's Eyes CE60TN 000-28タイプ 日本製 ... - ヤフオク!
Tokai acoustic guitar Cat's Eyes CE60TN
Speaking of acoustic guitars, most of them are dreadnought styles.
It is a fairly rare model that copies the 000 type.
The serial number is "972XXX" and it seems to be made in 1997.
The neck is mahogany and is one piece except for a patch on the heel.
Rosewood fretboard with snowflake inlays
The appearance is almost straight and the decrease in frets is small.
The pegs are of the Kluson type, but the knobs are Waverly-style to create a lively atmosphere.
There is no string height problem
The body is solid spruce top and rosewood sides/back.
Herringbone binding around the perimeter and sound hole
There is a "JAPAN" stamp on the neck block inside the body.
Bracing has a "970308" stamp that is different from the serial number.
Is it the date of manufacture?
