Product Description​

This is a Tokai Breezysound.
Checking the serial number, it appears to be from early 1985.
The serial number is an L, so it must have been made after '82, before the headstock shape was changed ('85 or '86).
I've had a few Tokai guitars, and it seems that they changed the maple wood around '85 (changing to a wood with a wider, more pronounced grain, probably a faster growing wood, as seen in '90s Fender Japan OEM products).
This guitar has a plainer maple neck like the old (early '80s) Tokais. I prefer this type of neck.

It has a 6-way bridge, so it's 50 grade, blonde color.
It's been cleaned and tuned.

Neck: Almost straight, truss rod works fine
Frets: 7.5/10 (some dents under the strings)
Controls: No noise
DC resistance: Neck = 5.71kΩ, Bridge = 6.96kΩ
Replacement parts/modifications:
- The output jack cup was replaced with a square plate, so a new Scud cup was installed and the extra screw holes were filled-
Two control knobs were missing, so new Scud ones were installed-
It seems that either the volume pot or the tone pot has been replaced (the soldering is very good but the shaft height is different. The height was adjusted to about the same level with a washer, etc.)

Damage:
- There is discoloration, dents, chipped paint, scratches, rust, discoloration of metal parts, etc.-
Traces of a peeled sticker on the front of the body (there is a square white part, but it is not very noticeable)
- Headstock decals have been removed
- There is a scratch on the 17th fret. It doesn't get caught when you bend it, so I don't think it will be a problem in practice.
