Does the paint residue in both neck pocket and neck mean this guitar is still all original, neck and body factory fitted? A pair so to speak, no partscaster?

As a mechanic besides playing I always want to wrench when a 'new' used guitar arrives. Usually it goes like this: play it for a very short while, clean it up, pull off the neck, check the truss rod, adjust if necessary and take lots of photos. Reassemble, new strings, alter bridge, saddle and...

Just bought this by chance, for my wife, in the hope she would like it aesthetically (she does. :) ) Now I'm curious about its origins (ofcourse :) ) I think its an EKO from the late 70s early 80s, made in Italy. What do you guys think?

I know Dimarzio made VS-1 DP108 pickups for Strats, but did Dimarzio also made VS-1 for Teles? I just found a supposedly Dimarzio VS-1 Tele bridge pickup from the early '80s.
