Have a Tokai, having trouble matching details for register

Hi all, This is a bit of a time travelling thread - I realised I had already signed up here, and *then* realised I had already posted about the guitar in question, in 2009! Anyway, to cut a long story short, I got the guitar as a present in the end, and it served me well in a Beatles tribute...

    Breezy Sound bridge cover

Thanks - it's great fun, and the local tribute band scene is quite receptive to The Beatles' music, so works out well for us too :) Just a shame that Tokai don't make Rickenbacker replicas, otherwise i'd now be on the lookout for one of those too!

    Breezy Sound bridge cover

Cool, at least it looks like one will probably fit. They do look a little odd, but i'm in a Beatles tribute band as George, and his had one - historical accuracy wins, i guess :-? lol

Wow, lots of useful info and great pics! So, i am i right in thinking that Tokai have, over time, made three distinct rosewood and rosewood-effect models? I guess i'm just trying to make sure my money isn't wasted :)

Rosewood Breezy Sound - advice needed

Thanks Marcus, i've noticed that one on at least one website on my travels - luckily, the one i am looking at has the more usual 'Breezy Sound' decal. Togps - thanks for pointing that out; i had no idea. Would i be right in assuming that it will just sound more like a normal Tele than a genuine...

Rosewood Breezy Sound - advice needed

Hi all, First post, but i have been lurking for a little while, absorbing the wealth of information :) I'm a massive Beatles fan - in a tribute band, in fact - and have always loved George's rosewood Telecaster. However, the ?3,500+ tag has put me off somewhat! I've spotted what appears to be...
