    Replacement for Gotoh/Tonepros ToM saddles

Hi I'm looking for brass saddles for a Gotoh made Tonepros ToM bridge. I need them to be available within Europe. Do you know if the Faber brass saddles are compatible with the Gotoh hardware? Or maybe saddles made by another manufacturer (hopefully Gotoh...) that are readily available for...

    Tokai LS-320 club

Well, I'm listening mate. :D I usually swap the pickups in my guitars, but can't find an excuse with this one. They are so damm nice and balanced. Obviously the guitar plays a major role in that. Mine was also drilled for a pickguard by a previous owner, unfortunately, but thankfully the hole...

    Tokai LS-320 club

Beautiful burst finish and top on that one! Care to talk a little more about it? Pickups, hardware, electronics, etc. I noticed you also have it drilled for a pickguard. Did you do that or was one previous owner?

    Tokai LS-320 club

Ok, so here goes a pic of my guitar. Not the best of photos, but you'll get the idea: 2005 LS320. Last year of production as LS320. No fret edge binding as per 2005 specs (it became a custom option). Stock Seth Lovers pickups. Luis suggested me a couple of alternatives, but the guitar sounds...

    Tokai LS-320 club

I saw that thread Brazen. Of course Terry is more than capable of delivering the goods with a 2 piece body. Terry or anyone else, for that matter. It's no big deal if you choose two pieces with similar characteristics. But it's a whole different matter when you change the species of the wood...

2005 LS320 in Violin Finish. Ex-Luis  I think it's a good idea to have a thread to discuss the singularities of the 320's and the differences Tokai introduced to the model along the years. but it might be even a better idea to include also the newer 320 equivalents from Tokai. So, as a...

    fame guitars - tokai made?

Some of the Musicstore's Fames are made, or at least were made, by Mayones, a Poland manufacturer: http://www.mayones.com They do high quality stuff. I own one of their basses, it is a hell of an instrument.

    Tokai Inlays

I have a 2005 LS320 with perfect inlay work, just perfect. Having said that, I've seen faulty inlay work in others LS320's before, this is not the norm but it's not the exception, either. It's not a deal breaker for me, but I'm certainly not blindfolded, and I reckon that a finish flaw like that...

    Info about Tokai Loverock 1982

Hi Thirdfret. I've seen the ad you refer to, and I've passed on the deal inmediately for some of the reasons already pointed above. It's very expensive, and the lack of certainty about what model exactly it is, it is not good either. A mystery I definitely don't wan't to solve after a purchase...

    LS-320 caps ?? what'ca got??

Hi, I didn't mean that my caps are original from the fifties, just that they came originally fitted with the guitar. I'm not sure if you understood that in the first place, that's why I'm clarifying  . Yes, these aren't very conventional values for a LP, let alone both in bridge and...

    LS-320 caps ?? what'ca got??

Hi, my 2005 LS320 has .033 Sprague Black Beauties, both in bridge and neck position. I'm sure they are original.

    LS-320 2005

Hi there. I've missed this thread so far. That 320 is now mine. I even started a thread myself when I got it, asking about the fret end binding issue. Here it is: http://www.tokaiforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=12244&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 Your 320 is very appealing Villager, what a shame...

    LS 320 fret binding

That Braz board is definitely amazing, with such a beautiful figuring. Mine is like dark chocolate, smelly and... tasty?. Yes, it feels smooth under the fingers, almost like ebony. Great playability, for sure. I mean that fret end binding is more elegant, more pleasing to the eye (at...

    LS 320 fret binding

Official sources say that from 2009 onwards, they'll only use two piece knobs, with a veneer top  .

    LS 320 fret binding

Then it's a 2005 model. Thanks man! Sorry, I misunderstood you. The made in Japan signature is inked in the back of the headstock. Reading your sentence, I thought about an actual sticker. So all cleared now  . Nice flame on that one. It's a shame from the point of view of the luxury...

    LS 320 fret binding

Great top on that one! Now I feel completely confident about mine. Thank you very much. What do you mean with your sentence about the "made in Japan" sticker?

    LS 320 fret binding

Now that is relaxing. Thank you. By the way, is there any way to know in wich year mine was made (using the serial number I presume)?
