Hi there. Interested in this guitar but the seller lives a great distance from me so I can’t actually try the guitar out. All original and looks in good shape. Have any of you experience with these? Ie pickups, neck anything you can comment on? Many thanks.

I have a '96 fuji-gen orville goldtop, it has a 2 piece seam-centred back and no heel cap. Most of the Terada made ObGs that I have seen have the heel cap and 3 piece backs.

There doesn't seem to be a chronological order for the 5 screw/8 screw pickguards on the 80's models. Can someone clarify why some early models have the 8 and later ones have 5 screws, and both inbetween? I'm confused!! THANKS

Too right Ozeshin that is a '79 I banez 2619 ebony board 2 tri-select for hum, single, and out of phase. The people at Ibanez call these lp killers and thru a B jr with a jenson it rips. would still like to get an mij lp though regardsIbnose

Hi all And my 2002 Tokai is called an es 100 and has a ton of flame so there are the odd variables- the guitar has a nice vertical grain and also nice horizontal flame. It just can't be seen very well in this pic. regards

What kind of Gibson pups should I look for then? and is there much difference between those that are vintage and those that are new?

Yes By day this is a mild-mannered middle America retro toaster and by night it has transformed into a wild and crazy tone-a-delic music machine!! All 3 tone positions give a distinctive Tele sound, especially the bridge pickup which really spanks out the sound. I love this thing! Ibnose

I got this guitar a while ago but never posted pics There must be a mistake in the label because the 100 doesn't have flame maple top. The 110 (now discontinued) is now the 120 with the flame.

Some additional information: vh-1 pups in neck and centre postion, sh-1 in bridge ( also says Gotoh pickups above the sticker ) and what appears to be this serial number 10207. Can anyone decipher the serial number? I would have thought it was a "t" but perhaps is a one. I hope you can read...
