Yeah, I know what you mean, I could see the point if it had a good quality mahogany body, long tenon, great pickups and all the other usual appointments for a good Les Paul, but I cant see much point on an MIK. A long tenon wont make much, if any difference (IMO) in the tone of a guitar on its...

Other than the fact it might be ...in potential ...slightly stiffer, I cant see the point. Its not like the fact its got a quarter sawn neck is going to affect the tone that much if at all, certainly on a cheap MIK, its like fitting a spoiler to a trabant.

The truss rod cover looks Japanese to me. Were orange drop caps standard on an LS100Q if not then it might have been re-wired

Acctually, it could be worse than those two dings. Ive a mate who's 3 year old was going mad with some with poster paints and while mum turned her back for 2 mins, his ES150 got a nice going over. No real damage thankfully, but some of the fingerboard pores around the 10th and 11th are still...

I must admit it does seem a tiny OTT to me, I bought an unseen ES120 that turned up with an inch long 'scar' on the back of the neck, the shop that sent also bundled a load of strings and a 'Sorry, Our fault, return if not OK note' After 5 years its still my go to guitar. Moral of the story...

HISCOX are great, their standard case's are perfect for most normal needs ...the 'Artist' case is built like nuclear bunker!
