Re: Rinkya Shipping Has Gone Ballistic

Don't forget Rinkya puts a service charge on every shipping order. An additional 25% on top of inflated shipping charges is a bit much. Their commission fees on high end items is ridiculous too. I still buy with them when necessary but prefer Buyee services more.

Re: NGD 1981 LS100S ON All Mahogany Love Rock

I have 3 of the 1981 LS100S models. Two red and a gold top. All three appear to me as being solid one piece mahogany blanks carved with the archtop.

I have an '81 Love Rock that has the double rings. Now i can't be certain its 100% original because i'm not the 1st owner but it still has the circuit board and Dimarzio's.

I thought Dimarzios were stock on the ls100 not the ls80?

Re: NGD....ES100J

Congrats, it looks mint! Based on experience with two ES100J's, the 'J' pickups are very low output and actually sound pretty good. I had mine changed for OX4's (again low output) and it's not a night and day difference. Mind, changing pickups and pots in an ES is one of the most frustrating jobs e...
