[NGD] I tried dating my new Burny LPC. Anyhing I missed?

Hello there! I'm back on this forum after a couple of years. I recently saw a bargain for a nice black Burny Les Paul Cusom and just couldn't help myself and pulled the trigger on it. It was about 700$ including shipping, a hard case and Dunlop Straplocks (which I promptly exchanged to...

NGD: Fujigen Orville LP Std plaintop

all in all I ended up paying 2800 for it, so.. Well yeah, it's still a good price compared to 3300 you have to pay when you buy from H-R Guitars ;) But - the sellers on allegro never differentiate between low end K-series orvilles and better ones like mine. Mine was made in Fujigen (not in...

NGD: Fujigen Orville LP Std plaintop

Hi thanks to what I learnt here I was finally able to buy a fairly decent Les Paul. Thank you :) I imported it from Japan. I don't know what was worse - the 2 month wait, or the import taxes I paid ;). But it was worth it. Pickups are stock, it has a long tenon, no FEB.

    Fujigen Orville pickups

did the wiring also made the sound lousy, or was it just the pickups? Did you replace the pots too?

    Fujigen Orville pickups

Hi! I have recently bought a Fujigen made Orville (not ObG), 1994, Standard plaintop. It's currently on it's way to me from Japan (sea shipping - it was a month already, and there's probably still another month to go; the wait is horrible!) I haven't found much here about orville pickups (apart...

    '81 Ibanez Blazer BL-350

Mike, the refretting was first. The positive side of that unfortunate event was, that he has done all those works I described earlier only for the price of refretting. And the refretting price was also low in comparison with other luthiers from my city. The refin was a dumb move, but what can I...

Help Needed: EG600 LP MIJ Is it Made In Japan?

No serial, black painted electronics cavity and pickup cavities and colorful pickup wires are signes of a MIK Greco. Since this guitar is all black anyway, the argument about painted cavities might not be useful here, because the cavities could be painted anyway, but you should ask the seller...

    '81 Ibanez Blazer BL-350

Hi I've had this guitar for a while now, so it's no NGD, but I guess it's always good to share some pics ;) As far as I know it was made in 1981 in the Dyna Gakki plant in Japan. It had a stock brass (including the toneblock) bridge and brass pot knobs. I had them polished some time ago, and...

    WTB: midrange MIJ Les Paul

The Burny seems quite nice, I've seen it before and I'm considering it. I'll probably PM you soon about some details. The Tokai - it's **** pretty :) Really like it, but with that price + shipping/pp fees + the EU taxes it would kill me financially :-? thanks for the offers so far, I'm...

    WTB: midrange MIJ Les Paul

a lil' bump. the longer I wait, and the more savings I'm have, I'm leaning more towards LS-150 or something on a similar level ;). Of course I'm still interested in a bit lower-end stuff (LS-80/85/90). Tokais are just an example, as I said before, I will consider any brands. Let's say 850Euro...
