    That's really cool, I don't have one but I wish I did. Would you mind sharing a few things about it? Like weight, neck profile, balance , playability, pickups etc I've been keeping an eye out for one of those and a V as well. They seem to be quite rare. 8)

    Should be PU2s if standard, really nice pups. I just put a set in my LC100, very impressed by them. And they replaced Dry Zs. :D

    Up to mid 1980 they have the model number stamped on the fretboard below the last fret, after that an oval sticker under the serial on the back of the headstock.

    Calypso, as Peter said you'd need to check the pots/caps for verification of an LS173, also that LS60 looks to be a three piece top which would make it an LS50.

    You'd need a sledgehammer to break that headstock again. :o GLWTS Olds, that's a cool old Tokai. 8)
