Six digit SN on Love Rock

Mis-information strikes again at the Tokai Registry forum..... :( The guitar in question is a Korean made, Canadian market NALS-48 Tokai Love Rock flame top with tangerine burst finish. 2005 model. The conspiracy stories about fakes get more ridiculous all the time here....

ZAKK WYLDE TOKAI BULLSEYE LES PAUL COPY

Well said Mick, although I'm sure it will fall upon deaf ears. Going back to the bullseye, first run arrived Feb of 2005 and thinking back I seem to remember it was only 12 guitars on the first run as it sold out instantly. Second run came in around April/May of 2005 and was either 24 or 36...

ZAKK WYLDE TOKAI BULLSEYE LES PAUL COPY

Finally, a voice of reason here. You guy really need to stop spreading all this mis-information here, its getting old. Every time someone comes in here with a Tokai not made in Japan its a fake. Complete crap. Sorry Togps but you really don't know what your talking about. I don't...

    Looks fishy to me....

Take a closer look you'll see you are the one who is wrong here. Just a quick look and I can see that.... 1. The Dillion GT is a different shade of gold, its lighter in colour. 2. The Vol/tone controls on the Dillion are correct and not like the ones on that Tokai. 3. The truss rod cover on...

    Looks fishy to me....

What would you like me to give up, telling the truth? :-?

    Looks fishy to me....

No its not. Its very different looking from the new Dillion GTs available. That appears to be an early 2000s Canadian/US market Tokai when they were still testing the lawsuit boundries here.

Could somebody help me identitfy this Love Rock?

That actually looks similar to one of those fake Gibsons from China with the heavy imprinted serial numbers and mis-aligned vol/tone knobs.

Help - Which GoldTop do I have ?

Its one of our old Canadian market NALS-48 model gold tops. You got a good deal on that one especially since it was new and they are no longer made for or sold in Canada. Mahogany body, maple top and rock maple neck and it should have a serial # on the back of the headstock as all of ours did.

Love rocks that look like Esp EC-1000?

Actually that sounds like one of our old Canadian market Tokai Love Rock DLX-2004 models.

    New goldtop

No serial # eh, its not a Canadian market Tokai then. Is it new or used? It sounds like it may be a MIK or new MIC model from overseas.

    New goldtop

Is there a serial # on the back of the headstock?

    new lefthanded canadiankoreanLoveRockTokai ,.,.,.,.,pics

That is a Canadian market Tokai, NALS-48 and the finish is tangerine burst. That guitar is just over 2 years old. Our Tokais here in Canada had one screw, MIK Tokais available overseas had 3 and were made in a different factory then ours.

New Tokai 335 copy, please help!

Yes its a Tokai. Around 2 years ago Tokai started some Chinese production, I believe these were from that time. Like many other guitar brands they have moved production from Korea to China because its cheaper. I never bothered to bring any in because it wasn't worth it when you have clowns...
