These are dirt cheap, they even come with a 9V power supply included. Very cool pedal if you use it with the gain set just at breakup. Good buffer.

The Seymour Duncan SD-1 sound pretty good, but are quite tall, so they might not fit. I also played the Bare Knuckle Blue Notes as a set in one P-90 guitar. Very smooth and transparent, very vintage sounding.

Hi Peter Mac, yes this case is only good for storing the guitar. I find it difficult to buy a case these days, since most of them stink like a chemical factory. Will try to find a used one. Thx Gordon

Yes found her at Ishibashi. Funny how they didn't really know what guitar and year it was. The cosmetic condition is so good it almost scares me since I am a player, not a collector.

I think shipping is just as easy from the U.S as anywhere. You guys just aren't used to dealin with the friggin foreigners, lol. USPS will ship this in the box you got from Japan to anywhere. Other shippers & couriers like UPS, FedEX will charge ridicilous handling fees on top of customs, so...

I just picked this odd lady up from customs, pics to follow: 0101417 inkie serial, 60 sticker underneath. 1980 specs (empty headstock, just Tokai mop inlay). 14 deg headstock, volute, 2p body, beautiful top, fret nibs(!) cherry burst (not clown). The pickups have hex screws like I saw them...

Gotta love it. I recently stumbled over an ebay listing where the guy described quality Humbucker pickups with braided wire etc. The photos attached showed cheap pickups with pvc coated thin wires in the expensive packaging. I asked politely if he mixed up the pictures. Answer: "Why? No!"

Thanks guys, I followed your advice and used super glue. All sit firm and tight now. Maybe this happened due to different climate (guitar was shipped from asia 8 weeks ago). I hope they stay put now! Gordon
