    LPC with Ebony fingerboard?

You could also look for a 98-00 Epiphone LPC90 (not 80), made by FujiGen/Orville. Here's my little customs collection: Edwards, Epoiphone LPC90, ObG 57RI and a 76 Gibson The neck of the Epi is close to the ObG (fat, fatter than the average Orville neck). Frets are medium to jumbo, long tenon...

    John Sykes Custom

One of my main guitars, it's awesome - I've replaced the pickups though, I'm not a fan of Duncan ceramics . . .

    Edwards bridge replacement

FYI: Gotoh offers metric and US-sized parts. The stoptail and tunamatic on my Ed 98 was made by Gotoh too, tunamatic metric, studs "imperial".

Anyone find their Edwards lacks low end, authority...

My 98LTC is more "airy" and its whole feel more resonant, yes. For me thats a good thing, played a 5.5. kilo 76 LPC for years before I've switched . . .

    Edwards bridge replacement

4mm sized to be exact - 98LTC. I've used a "Duesenberg" bridge with steel sadles (sp?) and without the unholy rattly clamp. Sounds good, less rattle, more sustain on a pretty "airy" guitar. www.rockinger.com

    Hi, I'm new . . .

Here's the Standard, which is on her way thru the customs from Japan. I'm not sure if its a photo-finish or not though. From the other detailed pics the seller had it looks like a one-piece solid maple, but then, at its fairly low price one can assume its a photo finish. We'll see. Got her...

    Hi, I'm new . . .

Thanks. The Ed has a maple cap, John. And also the ebony fretboard, which adds the "bite" I was used to from my 76 LPC. The '76 had even a bit more of bite (maple neck). Orville's neck is more into slim taper direction, Ed's neck chunkier, but still reasonable sized IMO. Pretty close to that...

    Hi, I'm new . . .

Just wanted to introduce myself. 44 yrs, been playing since the 70s or so. Had some Gibsons and Heritages in the 90s until two years ago. Main axe was a '76 LPC, which was "my" guitar. Way too heavy weighted I had to stop using her, my shoulder couldn't stand the 5.5 kilos anymore. Looking for...
