I'm going to look into the hollowed out strat body with very light klusons and a slim Tele neck. Checking the individual weight's it should balance like a normal Strat.
Have you got that LS150 syndrome ?
Put it in a corner , walk away and then come back and pick it up !

In the UK they call it tonse ( well they did back in the 80's ). I used to work in a car repair shop as a kid and oftern you would hear one of the panel beaters say " Knock up some tonse and whack it in the dent ", After watching American Hotrod I noticed they call it Bondo ?

We looked at my LS150 last night and there is no filler that we could see around the inlays ( which was nice ).
I noticed that filler started to show more on post 2005 Tokai's for some unknow reason ?
But some of the Gibson Standards I have seen are more like car body filler :o On the back...
I was thinking of either a very premium ( and no doubt expensive ) Swamp Ash strat body hollowed out ( think Thinline Tele ) with one pickup, fixed bridge and a lightened neck for balance.

I have a guitar builder in mind to build me a new strat...
I cant sit too good at the moment and that could be a long term issue. I was thinking about one of those travel guitars and then drilling holes in the body or getting a new body made out of very lightweight wood for my strat and just keeping one pickup and a fixed bridge.
