bought this and don't really know if it is a made in Japan model.

Lover Rock 60 on a sticker serial number are pressed in to the head stock.

the bridge post is screwed directly into the top of the guitar no. sleeve.

the bridge says Japan under bottom.

the pickups are Tokai 57PAF

finish is lemon appears to be solid top no veneer.

the headstock has the dimple like a Korean?

the pots are mounted to a pub board?

do you know what this is and where it was made?

do not know how to post a picture?

What is your best guess as to the value?
THE FRETS are ok but would having a Luther
refret this guitar hurt or help the value?

Thanks for your help.

As for value it depends on where you are. Europe ?? U.S. ??? Aus ?? If the frets are fine i'd leave them. The next potential owner might not endorse your choice of fretwire etcc..

Hi guys,

1984 Models have moustache headstocks - no dimples.
All MIJ models have a 2-screw Truss rod cover - Korean models have 3-screw.
TLS-60 were plain top models - not flame veneer.

hope this helps

This guitar has the two screw on the head stock truss rod cover
I understanding is this a mij original.
