Hi Tokguys and gals ! just a quick Q
i have 2 Tokai MIJ 2002 SG 60' s in Walnut brown , i think thats the right colour ?.both great guitars
one is serial number 024925 the other 024872
my question is .do you think there are another 53 SG 60's between them
or were numbers just given to guitars as they left the factory , in which case
i guess they may both have been made on the same day ?
thoughts please ?

If I recall, the serial numbers are sequential for ALL guitars leaving the factory on any given day. Not issued sequentially to specific models - you'd then end up with duplicated, triplicated, etc serial numbers.

I've just realised that doesn't make any sense , all it tells us that my guitars were 53 apart on the production line ...
