Try to find a Burny RLJ80.

I have one, it's a nice sounding guitar with a medium/fat D-shaped neck and a thin urethane finish.

Mine has a one piece body (I don't know if it's always like this on RLJ80's).

I have changed the wraparound with an intonated Gotoh model, put CTS pots, a PIO caps and a Switchcraft input jack.

The P90 sounds good but is very strong. I have a '62 SG Jr to compare and the Burny is really a nice rocking guitar.

The only thing I would change is the P90, to try something with a more "vintage sound".

hi
i got a few ,,, :D :D
i got Orville (terada made) and burny and greco (one tokai made greco)
they all have the long tenor ,,, all very difference ,,,
the old burny are more heavy and big necks so if you like big necks
thats the one to get ,, the newer ones are more slim necks

here are a few burny ,,, i got more now but dont have Pictures

Orville is great ,,, medium neck ....light weight

greco more slim necks i like them too
so i dont think you can go wrong with a lp jr :D :D :D
and easy to change the pickups if you dont like the sound
all the best
