There's no end of drive/overdrive pedals out there, I've tried loads. A couple of weeks ago I was given a Wampler Paisley Drive to try out for an extended period, I've now used it at home and more importantly in gig situations and loved it. Even though I was happy with the TS9DX and Zendrive on my board, I have now chosen to add the Paisley - it gives me more flexibility. It works really well with my valve amps and all my P90, Tele/Strat p/ups and humbucker guitars. If you are looking for a decent 'controllable' drive/overdrive pedal that is dynamic and 'natural' sounding, I recommend you try one for yourself. Be interested to hear your opinions.
 
Yep, Wampler produce pretty decent pedals. I have the faux reverb integrated in my pedal board:
