Thanks for the feedback. If I would have had my act more together I could have shipped them a couple of days faster.

Ned

PS - I filled out the customs form to reflect the package as a gift so that shouldn't be the problem.

Hey Beerslinger did Canada post hit you with any additional expenses? I'm picking mine up tomorrow and they want $9.75 for something. I assumed shipping was pre-paid ($7.50 U.S.)

You shouldn't have to pay anything as I already paid for the shipping via USPS. Should be covered by the Global Express Flat Rate envelope.

Mine was delivered directly to my mailbox without any duty, customs or GST.

If the t-shirt is a "gift" for a "donation" to the registry, it should be customs exempt; but if it was bought as merchandise, then duty applies.

I think :-?

Right on Novasel! It was all duty and taxes. The postie said that if it was marked as a gift it would have sailed through no problem. Keep in mind for future ref. Ned.
Still a great shirt tho' :D

I marked all the customs forms as gifts. Is there a tag on your package marked otherwise?

There's a green customs tag but you've got to look really closely to see the check mark in the gift box, but it's there, I'm sure they just missed it. I may phone to voice my complaint but I'd probably just get my name put into some little black book for future reference, paranoid eh!

Sorry about that. Sounds like the Canadian Postal service is as high quality as the USPS.

I'll make extra sure to press harder when filling out the customs forms.

Sometime this weekend I'll start editing my video from the NAMM show. I've got about 20 minutes of nothing but the Tokai booth - close-up shots of most of the guitars in the booth.

LB-

I did not know that was you or I would have put a nice note in the package.

Thanks for breaking your "no logo t-shirt" thing.
