T-Shirt Idea

Post by ned » Wed Jul 24, 2002 6:56 pm

Here is my first crack at a t-shirt design for the site. Let me know what you think and what you would change. Working on the back for now. Also, need to get a idea of how many people would buy one, probably $15-20 US which would include shipping. Final price would be determined by how many people would buy as I could then order them in bulk. (image needs some cleaning up).

Will it say Tokai on the shirt? Otherwise people might mistake
it as a Gibson Les Paul. :o
It would be cool to have a selection of more guitars i.e. Springy Sound or Goldstar Sound Strat and Tele copies as well as the Love Rock. I suppose I'm expecting a lot here.Anyway I would order at least 1 in Large with a Love Rock image and 1 in Large with a Tele
copy image, preferrably a 52 REISSUE.

Multiple images could be done - good feedback.

I was thinking of adding a closeup of the headstock. I'll throw another version up this weekend.

It is a good idea,Ned,but there is a problem:we are spread all over the world,so shippin cost could be higher.I think Tokai Gakki must help here in the way they can,as we are support them.Takl to them.

I'm thinking of 2 or 3 versions (LR, tele, strat).

We are investigating the shipping costs as well for those outside the US.

Checked on some shipping info from the US Post Office. For a 3 pound package at 6"x10" the shipping to Australia and Japan would be $5.00 (US).

Didn't someone use as a signature something like "Why play the original...when you can have a copy?" I can't remember exact words, but it was really cool, and might fit the theme for the T-shirts.

Why not use Tokai's own slogan?
" The best musical products in the World "
or something to that effect :-?
