Greg Bennett models are made by Samick and are now made in China rather than Korea.

I ordered a Greg Bennett Royale RL4 from Guitar East in 2010 (nice guys)
http://www.guitareast.com/rl4.html

I love it! Out of my 7 Asian guitars it's my current favorite. Buttery, low action, slim neck that's not too chunky, nice hardware, beautiful and comfortable semihollow design. Great option for those of us in the states who can't get a Tokai through normal retail channels.

I've seen one of their L-5 jazzbox copies in a store, and it was impressive, esp for the price. I think the higher up the model numbers on an electric guitar line, the better the result with these.

So my Greg Bennett collection is up to three now. :)

1. I have a red Royale semi-hollowbody I bought new.

2. A Wine Red solidbody Avion AV-7 LP Custom style with full body/neck binding; block inlays; black pickguard, knobs and pickup surrounds; and gold hardware I bought off ebay for $250. Plays like buttah.

3. A black jazzbox LaSalle with chrome hardware and trapeze tailpiece I also got off ebay used for around $350. Unlike the above two, the pickups aren't "Duncan designed."

I love them! Very nice necks, low action. The ones with Duncan designed pickups sound better. The jazzbox pickups seems too bright. Trying Seymour Duncan 59s in those next.

Unfortunately the electrics are out of production, but can be found on eBay and elsewhere used. I would steer toward the higher end models (AV-6 and up on the Avions) to get the Duncan designed pickups and avoid the few bolt-on cheap models.
