Hello everyone...I am a newbie to the Tokai world. I just picked up a Tele copy, an ATE-61. No serial number is visible, and it's got "The quality musical instruments of the world" on the headstock, along with the non-F looking "T." Does anyone know if this is a Japanese or Korean guitar or when it could have been made? Not that that matters...it's great. Thanks.

Oh Yeah..and "Final Pro.Spec" is stamped into the metal behind the bridge PU. Thanks.

Murph,

Based on the model number 61 it's gotta be Japanese. Did you buy this new? what country?

Thanks for the reply. It's used, and came from Florida. Unfortunately someone put blue Lace Sensors in it, but they can always be changed...thanks for the info.

Check it out with the Lace sensors before you remove them. I had a MIJ Strat with Lace Sensors that I really liked, and the Clapton Strat used to come with Lace's.
