Out of curiosity does anyone have a clue what the letter A stamped on a Greco pickup stands for. The interesting thing is that I have seen it on 3 different pickups. It is on a PU-2, a Super 70 and one that I own is a double cream Maxon with no model stamp on the base. The one I have measures around 8.5k. I think I have pics of all of them somewhere.

I've seen the A on some pickups. It looks a bit like the Z on the Dry Z pickups. Don't know what it means.
