i really know nothing about greco's so i figured i would ask the guy's in the know. i am interested in one with a serial # K84xxxx. 84 is the date right (?), but what is the K? someone told me it could be where the guitar was made. korea????
it has the flower pot inlay on the head, open "O", greco machine tuners, frets are not bound, roeswood board, solid cap and body (i am assuming mahagony and maple), gibson style pu pocket routing, medium length tenon (no screw like aria pro), and stock pu's (screaming?). where is this guitar in the line of greco quality... good-better-best?
thanks!

Hi paf man, the letter at the start of the serial number corresponds to a month eg: A=january B=february and so on. So "K" would make it a november 84 build date. These guitars were made in Japan and are well built . Some pics would be good.
Hope this helps

Mick
