Edwards E-SA 138 LTC BLK for sale

Post by gordon » Fri Apr 24, 2009 2:34 pm

It is a 2007 ES-335/355 model, i bought it just last year and need the cash.
Includes the original ESP case.

There are some very fine scratches in the finish as you would expect from the lacquer finish. No serious damage, dents or the likes.
Orig. Duncan Pups, plays like a dream.
Guitar is in Germany, will ship to Europe / EU
I will try and make some good pics on the weekend, these are from when I bought it.
Cheers
Gordon

Nice. I have one just like it and will never sell it. Absolutely superb guitar. Ebony fret board, aged binding, etc. Shame that you have to part with it.

I have been looking at these for a year, thinking a lot about them. Discovered this ES-125 lately and now cannot decide between them: http://www.kurosawagakki.com/items/detail/31770.html
From what I have heard the Edwards neck seems to be a little bit fatter.
Didn't know Tokai made them in black too. And they seem to equally priced. Sigh

I think the Edwards neck is great, just in between 50ies and 60ies
I have two more Edwards, love em all, but this one has to go, I need the money.
Sigh

I was thinking 899,-- Euros.
But I am open to reasonable suggestions.

Nice price. Here's a comparative look at one on auction from Japan:

Yeah I have seen this. The minute I decide to sell, Hisashi pops in!
Have not seen one in a while.
Well in my world, his 1200 Dollars add up with shipping and C.I.D..
As said, I am open.

I can always sell my VT-22, if noone wants her. ;-)

She will be on ebay wednesday.

That's why I said yours was a nice price. I'd heard that these were or are to be discontinued in place of the regular, lower spec 335's Edwards is putting out now. They've already done away with the white version of ours. Here are the technical specs. For anyone interested, this is an impeccably built 335 and a bargain at this price. I'd put it up there with the current Tokai ES120 (125 or whatever it is now):

Oooh, that's really, really lovely!

And I just bought a Tokai TA35 last month too! Grr...

Must resist... :-)

(Edit - did I mean TA35 - that's the Champ amp isn't it? I have one of those too - I meant the 335 copy anyway}
