Guys- would there be any reason to believe that an ObG Paul with fret-edge binding, blank truss rod, and Gibson '57s, be anything other than a LPR (59)? Thanks...

None at all unless it's a very clever fake, which I'm sure it won't be. The only OBG LP's were standards and reissues, the fret-edge binding only appeared on reissues.

I got my "new" ObG LPR today, and it is everything I had hoped.... I am a little confused tho'. It has a G03 serial number... thus making it a Terada correct? I thought manufacturing had gone to Fuji-Gen by '93? Anyway, I will get around to posting some pix soon....

hi, your serial number indicated a Terrada made guitar build in 1990. If it was a 1993 guitar the serial number would have started with G3. Yes, Fujigen also started to make ObG in 1993 but Terrada didn't stop then.

hope this helps, and congratulations with your guitar!
