So, I have the above Tokai Guitar (acoustic) rescued from a basement about a year ago. I suspect it's about 20-25 years old, and in very good shape. I'm TRYING to learn guitar. Is this model good, lousy, very good? It doesn't matter the least to me, I'm just curious. Thanks in advance for any help

I see nobody has answered your question yet. Wish i could help but I'm in the same boat- I just picked up the same model from a garage sale for $50. Well worth it to me as it sounds great- nice tone, great sustain, very vibrant. It's in pretty good shape, the case is worn but not abused, so it could be 20 or so years old. I am assuming it is not worth too much, but still a fine classical noodler.

Anybody out there have any more info on the classical line of Tokai. Most info out there is about the electric line.

Me too, I'm a beginner. I purchased a 7659 for about $85 a couple of weeks ago at a local music shop and would love to know if it is worth a squat.
