Tokai Flying V 1984 Headstock? Fake?

Hi, just bought this Tokai Flying V 1984.
I don't have it already, but the seller provided me with some pics.

The headstock seems to be different than the one from other Tokai 67'-Style V's.

Does somebody know something about the headstock differences of the V's?

I doesn't look like a fake-tokai, or does it???

Yes and no. :)

I was not the ebay purchaser, but I will get this guitar. The purchaser is a good friend of mine...it's a complicated story....

So let's talk about the headstock, any ideas?
