I need help on how to Relic a white pickguard I have tried coffee, tea and soy sauce. It's still white I'm shooting for a yellow tint. got any tips?
Thanx guys

Actually, I have seen good results with 1 or 2 coats of amber shaded laquer to get the effect u want. It is usually used as a clear coat on top of refinished guitars to fake some age. It works just as well on pickguards.
And since its laquer, the color will darken further over time and exposure to UV light. And a good buffer will take some of the shine out of the paint.
