Been messing around with the rack-mount digital effects unit from A.R.T. that belongs to a friend. Seems to be pretty cool for guitar signal recording. Anyone using this unit, and do you like it? I'm thinking of buying it from him, and want to get a second opinion if possible...

I have an ART SGX 2000 Express. In my travels and discussions with other players, i havent heard anything bad about any ART product. From my understanding, a lot of it is suppose to be professional grade stuff you find in the studio. Try a search on www.harmony-central.com for user reviews or search yahoo.
