Dating my Breezysound Serial Number 2974

Hi
I’ve just purchased a Breezysound and the seller believes it’s an 80’s model. The serial number is 2974 and is stamped on the neck plate. The headstock logo is post lawsuit and appears to date from 1985. However, according to the registry page, 4 digit numbers are from 1982.
Can anyone help date the guitar?

Hi,

You will need to take the neck off and tell us the stamp that is on the base of the neck [eg 6=9A]
The pickups should also have a TEA or TEB stamped in white ink on them.
The serial is later than 1982 though, probably getting close to 1985, but not sure at this stage.
