Hi all,

There's this Burny Les Paul Custom not that far from my place that I'm interested in. I would greatly appreciate some input from you guys before I decide to drive to the seller's location.

This is the information I got from the owner:
-no serial number or model name anywhere, incl. neck pickup cavity
-VH1 pickups with black wires
-top is 2-pieces of maple with slight birdseye figuring

What bothers me:
-how the diamond logo almost overlaps with the B tuner
-how the 3rd fret inlay is tilted, though maybe that is common among older MIJ guitars
-how the top carve looks extremely shallow, even for a Norlin inspired guitar

Here are the pictures I've got:

Thanks a bunch! :D

That's an oldie Burny with the split diamond and no serial. Any shots of the pots ?? you can sometimes date them by the pot codes. Ive got a Greco and the split diamond is ever so close to the B and A strings.

Thanks. I'll try to get a couple shots of those.
So that diamond overlap is nothing to worry about? I've never seen anything like it on the countless Burny headstocks I've seen so far.
