Hi all, just gonna introduce myself for now, but promise I will post some piccies etc later....
I bought my Springy Sound around 26 years ago from a school friend, who had himself, bought it 2nd or 3rd hand. I seem to remember it cost me £60 and I bought it because the £99 (brand new) Encore I was learning on felt terrible. Everyone who played the Tokai - including my Guitar Instructor was impressed by how it felt, played and sounded. No-one, least of all me thought it was anything other than a generic, cheapy Strat copy, until I did a bit of internet research and realised just what I had!
The bad news is that the friend I bought it off had replaced the bridge pickup with a humbucker thingy. I am now debating whether to try to return it to as original as possible, or just leave it and accept it's part of this guitars journey. What would you all do? It sounds amazing and obviously doesn't affect the feel of the guitar, so I'm tempted to leave it in its honest but altered state. I know it'll affect it's value though, if I decide to sell.... |

You also have to change the settings from private to public on your PB account. |

You have to take the [img] away from the start and end of your link.
Its a nice ST50 with the U.K. "Block" headstock script. Sweet !!! |
