Photobucket new version.
Slight change: copy the IMG code at the right side of the picture.

Can we get an up date to this topic, please.
I recently signed up with Photobucket to post pictures here. I posted a pic in a discussion thread. It seemed to be successful for a few hours (ie I could see the picture on the thread) until I tried posting a couple more pictures. Then all the pictures turned to the "Please upgrade to third party hosting' icon.
Many pictures I see here are the same icon (including this thread), but there are a few pictures displaying correctly. What are people using for picture hosting in 2018? I don't want to pay Photobucket a dollar a day just to put a couple of pictures up here. (I'd rather pay TokaiRegistry a modest amount for hosting.) I have dropbox - but I think that will only allow me to paste a link to a picture. I'm looking at vgy.me based on some searching I did.
I also found this article: https://www.ghacks.net/2017/07/02/photobucket-alternatives-for-third-party/ |

I have joined https://imgbb.com but I can't figure out how to post pics. I am familiar with html having built pages with html in the past (eg http://hompi.sogang.ac.kr/glass/instrum.html ).
The imgbb page has the embed codes tab which shows direct links, full image, full image (linked), and thumbnail image (linked). Which one should I use? And which html function button does it go with? |
