"Vintage" LC100
Sent photos to Tokki Gakki who think not MIJ but yes is Tokai. As they requested asked seller for photos of reverse of headstock but nothing received.
Look like OK guitar but not Vintage MIJ as per description.
Second LC for sale recently with the dimpled headstock, buyer beware.

Received a new message from him, seems to be very busy trying to answer everyones questions about the guitar, he admits the serial number isn't impressed into the headstock and has changed the listing, too bad for him he still says in the listing that it's made in Japan, when i gave him everything he needed to come to the conclusion that it's not. Of course he won't show a picture of the serial number. He'll have to end up eating the shipping when it gets sent back.. or someone will get a nice MIC Tokai.

.This is the statement has added to his
advert. "I had this guitar listed as a Buy It Now Auction, but i have decided to relist it as an auction. I have had a big response to the listing, and dont have the time to respond to everyones messages. Lots of people are asking for proof of this guitar being made in Japan and year of manufacture etc. Unfortunately there is very little information written on the guitar. I can only go by the serial number, and by what i was told by the previous owner. Please do your own research and bid accordingly. The serial number starts with 90 which would indicate a 1990 guitar made in Japan. Tokai didnt begin making guitars outside of Japan until the mid 90's according to the Wikipedia Tokai Gakki page. So it must be made in Japan. The previous owner told me it was an old Tokai, and it does look it. Although the condition is great, the metal and chrome hardware have corroded over the years. I dont know if the truss rod cover and the bridge is original or not. All i know is it plays and sounds great. Don't have a Gibson to compare it too. But i love the sound of it. The serial number is 9061720. I'm sorry i cant provide any more information. Tokai dont make it easy. No info on the guitar apart from their logo and serial number."

Vintage MIJ LC being auctioned on ebay
Tokki Gakki have looked at latest photos and confirm
".. our engineer checked all the picture including you sent past, we say it cannot be MIJ guitar. The guitar should be made in China."
Nuff said.
