Problems logging in for some persons

Post by wulfman » Wed Dec 24, 2014 7:44 am

I have received a message from marcusnieman who cannot log into the site for some reason. He keeps getting a "Critical Error" message. Marcus is the all-time post leader here and it is really odd that he hasn't been able to log in.

He theorizes that perhaps the North Koreans are responsible because Kim Jong Un is secretly a member here and wants to have the top spot for himself someday.

Anyone else hear of members with problems accessing or logging in?

Thanks Wulf.... I've just logged on using Google Chrome..... I've not been able to log in for WEEKS on Internet Explorer from multiple computers. Keep getting this message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: str_split() in /home/tokaifor/public_html/index.php(1) : regexp code(1) : eval()'d code(1) : regexp code on line 1

Anyone else?

I use Explorer all the time..... never had a problem. Try to pull up the forum on I/E and you'll see what mean. Something is corrupted.

I find internet explorer so buggy and slow that i have it turned off in my windows 7. I'll take your word for it. There are many other browsers that work well for the Tokai forum and everything else. You might be surprised how much better any of them are when compared.

Hope you get resolved and have a Merry Christmas.

I had the problem too earlier this week, but no longer. Jong-Un was probably just flexing his muscles a bit.

I had problems logging in these days.
Forum did not show anything, just the error message "web site is out of date" or something like that. I use Firefox and IE.

Merry Christmas!

For some weeks I haven't been able to get in using Internet Explorer, but can when I use Mozilla Firefox.

Exactly the same problem I was having - on several different computers (work, home, laptop, etc)

Ned, Here's the error message again. Thanks for looking into it:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: str_split() in /home/tokaifor/public_html/index.php(1) : regexp code(1) : eval()'d code(1) : regexp code on line 1

I also get the same error message while using IE (windows 8.1)
"Fatal error: Call to undefined function: str_split() in /home/tokaifor/public_html/index.php(1) : regexp code(1) : eval()'d code(1) : regexp code on line 1"

Switched to Chrome a few weeks back, and it works fine.

Welcome back Marcus, merry christmas and a happy new year.
