Tokai catalogue "Volume 1 Original Series"

Post by hans-j?rgen » Thu Jun 02, 2005 12:20 am

Hi Ned, I found this in my piles of old paper, are you interested in scans? It has 12 pages (counting the front and back, too) and only features their original guitars and basses, not the copies. There's no date, but it must be somewhere around the mid 80's that I grabbed it in a shop. I also have a german overview (two pages) and price list from Bochen & H?rle, one of the main importers in Germany at that time.

Send it my friend - ned at tokairegistry.com

Make the scans fairly high quality and I will put it into a PDF.

OK, it will take another week, because I can only scan at work.

Today I scanned the german price list and 2-page overview, I'll send the JPGs to your mail account, so you can have a look at them and tell me if the quality is OK or maybe too low. By the way, the price list has a picture of Ron Wood playing a Tokai Strat (not sure if Keith Richards also used a Tokai Tele for that photo).

[Edit]Did you receive anything yet, Ned? I tried it yesterday evening with a big 6-pages mail, but I'm not sure if it went through.

Hans-

It's 7:30am here in Texas, I won't be able to access my Tokai account until I get home from work. I'll let you know ASAP if I received the scans.

Gottem. Scans look good. I'll get them up on the site this weekend if not sooner.

Good, I wasn't sure if the text parts are clear enough to make PDFs out of them. Anyhow, I'll send the 12-pages catalogue then, too.
