The difference is not worth the cost of the solder. :D

Yes there's a difference, but, is it really relevant?

He's got some very old caps there. If there is a difference it's most likely because their values have drifted off spec with age.

A few things:
A good amp (and non hollow body guitar) will accentuate the differences better.
There's people (like me) that go the extra mile to get the tone they want, so yes it could matter. There's lots of variables in tone, tweaking all of them will result in huge differences.

Just wanted to say thanks for the info and advice.

I went for all 500k Log pots with a 0.022 cap in the bridge with a 0.015 in the neck. installed them yesterday, vintage style. My Guitar sounds brilliant now (oh yes, I also upgraded my pickups from Tokai Mk iv to mk ii) and the volume and tone controls are much more responsive than the originals. And the other good news is that I didn't blow myself up. (a few solder burns though :lol: )

Orange Drop. It was what came in the kit from Axesrus.
