 The First Japanese Solid Body Electric Guitar in 1954.

It's Teisco TG54/TN54. They built this model based on the Les Paul Goldtop back then. The two models are the same guitar, only the colors were different. TG54 was gold and TN54 was natural. Of course no info is available today that how many were built in fact but they are extremely rare now. This is really the historic piece of the guitar world. We must not forget about this model like the first Fender Broadcaster from 1948.

1954---The first solid body Teisco electric guitars were produced - the J-1, J-2, TG-54 and TN-54 - which copied the popular Les Paul design of that year.

That you, Joe? If so, welcome back.

Great looking guitar. Wonder what those pickups sound like?

Edit: I guess N is natural and G is goldtop?

Thank you for these pics. This must be super rare and precious. Very cool! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teisco
