Post by beatriz joya » Wed Dec 29, 2004 6:13 am

hope you don't mind if i asked;
if i register my 7okai, what are to expect?:
will they send me an e-mail, informing me things i don't know about my 7okai? will they post my tokai somewhere on the internet, where? what's the sole purpose of the registry?
just asking, thanks.

The Registry originally started because no one new how to decode the serial number to get the manufactured date. We have this licked for the Gibson copies but are still trying to figure this out for the Fender copies. So you are basically helping the World Wide Tokai community by regisitering.

Also, having information about your guitar stored elsewhere can be useful for insurance purposes. On more than one occasion the Registry has been useful in proving ownership and value for insurance claims.
