I'd avoid if I were you, mate. The pics are poor, the cap's not wired right for a Jnr, the pots look like long shaft which is not right for a Jnr, plus it's old and you don't know where it's beeN. The guy doesn't even disclose what guitar it came out of. If you wanna upgrade the electronics on your LP Jnr, THIS is what you should go for:

I've bought from this guy on numerous occasions, he's a total straight shooter, ships fast, communicates well and sells the genuine article. His prices are fair too.

yeah i noticed how the two shafts were different.

the link you gave me looks good, thanks a lot. i heard the old Juniors were fitted with Bumblebees though, i wonder if i could ask him to customize that instead of the Orange Drops.

My 1981 LS-150 has an upgrade by these guys, RS Guitarworks, & it is the best-sounding Lester I've ever heard.

Very highly thought of in the industry - & they get Chicago Telephone Supply (aka CTS) and Hovland to make premium parts specially for them alone.

Originally recommended to me by Jim Wagner of WCR pickups, that I have in all my stage guitars now.

Good luck!

In my experience, the bumblebees add a little more bass but that's about it. That in itself is not always desirable. I personally don't feel it's worth spending the stupid dough that bumblebees go for. Orange drops are just as good an upgrade & going beyond that is getting into cork-sniffing territory. If you really have to have the "real thing" then maybe go for a Sprague black beauty 400V/0.22mF. They're exactly the same as bumblebees except without the stripes and are a little bit cheaper (only a little though). I'd still say go for the wiring harness w/ the orange drops though. I can pretty much guarantee that any further "upgrading" beyond that will yield no audible difference.

+1 for the RS GuitarWorks. They were the package deal to get years ago when I was heavy into LP's and they still seem to be a top choice by many.

hmmmm indeed.

i was actually more tempted to buy the ebay one because it looks to be all soldered and ready to be put into the guitar, minus the pickup joint ofcourse.

the RS ones seem to just come with the parts seperately which i'd have to take to the guitar guy to do up.

but anyway.
