With just a bit over three weeks left in 2019 we are almost into 2020 so, it's that time of year when I'm curious to know what others purchased, and what they like the best from their 2019 purchases.

So, what was your FAVORITE guitar purchase of 2019? Tells us what you got & all the deets.

For me it's an easy answer as I purchased only one guitar  this year; it really spared my wallet a lot of pain

Here is my 1981 Tokai LS-60 OS Love Rock; thanks to Wulfman for hosting the pic 8)
This guitar is all the LS-60 I could ever want :D

I'm going to say this Momose that I got a couple of months back. It ticks all the boxes for me and is a good looker too IMO.

8) very cool, guys! i bought some guitars in 2019 and they are fender mexico roadworn series strats. both 50s & 60s i got. i love the both but especially for the 60s one, i must say its a fantastic guitar for all the reasons. still cant believe its only a $900 guitar. fender stopped making them lately but i really hope they come back again !!!!!

I bought about 20 Strats this year, none of them duds, so it's hard to name one. Maybe it's the honeymoon to some extent, but I'm loving my most recent purchase. Sounds fantastic, love the neck shape and the overall look.

Or this is perhaps my most vintage-feeling old MIJ Strat. I think I like the wood better than my old 65 Strat and 66 Strat.

Or the 1981 Greco SE-500 Harold inexplicably sold me (no photos that I can link to online at the moment), in some ways the best vintage MIJ I've played. Something I've learned buying all these old Strats is that there's great ones at all price levels.

lots of great guitars in this thread already; keep 'em coming 8)

Harold, what pickups are in your Momose? Are they the original Yuta YH-1s?

They are original to the guitar but the bridge is a 14k wind so probably not they typical YUTA recipie. Probably from that company though.

I got these 2 today.
