OK...I own a Tokai strat copy and am now looking at a new 335 copy. However the pricing of the Tokai's are getting outrageous, and unfortunately I am starting to look at getting an Epiphone.

Question...are the Tokai's THAT much better than the Epi's?

Could I live with an Epi, or should I save my nickels.

The NES-80's on ebay are going for quite a bit more than an Epi Dot.

Yes they are.I owned a Epiphone SG ant the Tokai Lover Rock is better no doubt.

OK...taking your advice. Just bought the following. I think it may be the cheapest one they make.

Did you get the 335 yet? I have a Hamer copy, that I like alot, but wondered what you thought of the Tokai. They might be made in the same place? Mike's has sold me some cool guitars for reasonable cash...
:D

I did a search for those Hamer guitars, and found a guitar store online selling them. Except they have them priced for 0.00. So I figure...that's a pretty good price. Free shipping also. So I ordered one. They sent me a confirmation email with a shipping ID and it all amounts to 0.00. That's pretty good as far as I figure. You might want one also:

Seems that he won't send me the free guitar...actually trying to charge me for it !

not sure but I think there is no such thing as false advertising in Japan.
I saw a used ESP tele for 39000 yen on the web, called the shop, they told me it was in mint condition. I said I`ll take it. How much with shipping I asked.... 82000 yen says he.
WOW shipping has REALLY gone up to Sendai from Tokyo... no thats the price with tax and shipping, he said as he looked at the tag on the guitar. Someone had entered the wrong price... about half of the actual price.
Tough luck they said, it was a mistake. They did offer to give me 5000 yen off the selling price. Won`t tell you what I wanted to say, but I did say no thanks.
