Joe's point is that Andrew displays pictures on his website which are from stores in Japan which don't even know he is doing this, let alone have a business relationship with him. This goes beyond healthy capitalism, there's blatant dishonesty in it if that's true.
And possibly it is true if you know how Andrew's website looked like before. It only displayed pics from guitars actually had; all thaken in the same way with the same background. Take a look for yourself how it is now.

Mike, where is Joe? seen him here lately? his name popped up in this thread three times already

I read Joe was kicked off the 'other' forum by Oz himself, back in March, for posting gay porn, LOL

seems that Oz was pretty upset with Joe; oh well, nothing new I suppose  .................................

odd how Joe's name keeps popping up here, six months after Ned asked us to, "move on" .............

 Hello everybody, Mick55 is here again. This person "MIJ" keeps insisting that I am actually that Joe guy, even I told him I am not. I am just Mick from Tijuana, Mexico. a hotel singer/guitarist. I came here to talk about the guitars but since this doubt might cause some trouble anytime, I should really leave here soon. This "MIJ" is crazy I guess......I received an invitation from some hotel in Las Vegas last night so I am going to there soon. My band will do "The Fiesta La Bamba Show" for them. This show is gonna be fantastic so come see us everyone. you are so welcome! Anyway sorry. I apologize. About that Joe guy I still remember some. That porno pic was only his comedy and he was saying so then. And I think another TF asked him to come back after. They are always good friends I guess. I read this story somewhere on the Telecaster Forum I think. He is a member there sometimes. ok good guys, Take care well and good bye!

:D Mick Taqoz.

Yeah, I don't know how this works in other capitalistic countries but in Holland there's a law that forbids selling something that's not yours..

If he's selling them with the knowledge of the Japanese stores, then I don't have a problem with that.

If they don't know about it, then that's a bit dodgy.

Yes I've heard from Joe, not on here though. If he's a member on here, he hasn't told me about it. Unlike you, I won't be losing any sleep over it if he's back or if he's not.

Ned asked us to "move on" with the forum after he banned Joe. We've all done that. However, Ned did not ban us from mentioning Joe's name. Nor did he ban Joe from sending or receiving e.mails from forum members. Or us receiving Tokai catalogues from him - he's always been helpful like that.

If he likes you.

As for Ozeshin banning Joe from "the other forum", that is also true, & I also respect Oz's right to do this. However, to claim that what he posted (which I thought was funny, though you wouldn't necessarily agree  ) was "gay porn" was over-stating the case more than a little bit, & I said this on "the other forum".

Quite why I'm explaining all this to you I don't know! And quite why you get so worried about the legend that is TJ, I really don't know. I reckon you secretly like him, don't you?

LOL, the continual mention of a previous/former/banned member by a very small (<4) contigent of members, isn't causing me to lose any sleep

I'm glad you're staying in touch with Joe; good for you. Enjoy those crispy, new catalogs, I mean trinkets.

AFA Joe getting banned over at the 'other' forum, I was just repeating what was stated in the thread, by Oz, and by others.
If that info is wrong, then they are wrong, because they are the ones that stated it.

You don't need to explain anything to me, and I didn't ask for it
Not worried in the least.

I was here to talk guitars, and to make contributions of knowledge & of experience, not to talk about old news  but that doesn't seem to be too popular any longer, as playing wierd little games seems to have taken over here ................... too bad ..............

Please don't leave on my account, as I haven't asked you to leave, it isn't my business to ask anyone to leave, and I would never do that :D

I think you're taking this all too hard Mick

No, I'm not crazy but I also am not stupid :)

You really don't need to go to Las Vegas; I heard they don't have any internet access there, just like in Yonaguni

Just stick around & I'm sure you'll fit in nicely :P ..... maybe post some porn, like at the 'other' forum :) ............

Everywhere there will be someone/some trying to capitalize and accumulate on peoples lack of knowledge.

The most powerful tool is people's "unawareness".
Especially if you manage to sweet talk them :D

A lot of people up here mail me with questions like "is this a reasonable price for this Greco". I normally tell them that if its a good guitar the price is not the prime worry but when taking into consideration that the Greco cost 250? in Japan and now suddenly 1000? you might want to try to get one elsewhere.
And I introduce them to the auction sites if they want to try elsewhere.

Trying to make money selling used things are pretty darn stupid 2010 :D
