quality ! It seems to be as high as Bacchus Duke and my Duke is the best LP I've ever had : http://www.guitarsmadeinjapan.fr/forums/viewtopic.php?id=586
that model is from the later series with the glued on headstock logo...mine is from the earlier series with the inlayed logo. I know when they changed they started using veneers and African mahogany...not saying one type is better than another but availability played a role in that. I came across a used one from the newer series but frankly mine seemed to be of better quality so I passed. I`d wait for an early one...but they are very hard to find now.
I see...then it will have to be a newer one `cause I don`t think they made a gold top in the first run of guitars but I`d have to check my catalog. Anyhow...wasn`t a total waste of time as you can now tell the difference between the first and second series headstocks. Second series are satin finished, at least the ones I`ve seen are.
