Is the ObG sold?

I just bought a wine red ObG Standard from tezza-j, what a beautiful guitar. Great neck, what a sound and so lightweight ...

I can recommend guitars and seller :D

Last two Orvilles I bought were a 94 ObG Custom in Ebony (w/ Ebony Fretboard, Fret Edge Binding, etc) for $850 US shipped from Japan and a Orville Custom in Wine Red for $700 US also shipped from Japan.
 
well batlord ..best you carry on buying from japan then.....

unfortunately our import taxes in europe add on approx 23% to the overall cost of the guitar AND the shipping and we have to reflect that in our sell on prices....
 
yeah, he is offering quite a few. but when I asked the seller questions about one of his tokais some time ago he banned me from his auctions instead of giving a reply. this guy will never see a penny from me for sure.

Well what kind of questions did you ask him? :wink:
That guy's in Switzerland, which is deceptive: it's in Europe, but you'll still get stung with import duties!
 
Just asked him details like serial, picture from pup cave, just the usual. Definitely not offensive. I posted his reply some time ago in this forum. Can't find the thread anymore.

I don't mind import-duties/VAT. I also buy directly from Japan. It's only a matter of selling price. Transport from Switzerland to Austria is quite cheap BTW.

knowledge it is all correct as he knows a whole lot more than you or me. I even
offer a return policy if anyone is not satisfied.
You sound to be a bit of a trouble maker and not the sort I want to deal with. I
am therefore putting you on my list of shut outs so you don`t need to even look
at my auction in the future and then you cant be upset .
